This April, the team at Shrewsbury Homes for All is taking on a collective challenge — completing 150 miles through a mix of walking, running and swimming to raise funds and support the work we do in our community.

Every mile we cover helps raise awareness and vital funds to support our mission of ensuring everyone has access to safe, secure housing.

Charity chosen for Tesco Stronger Starts scheme

🎉Shrewsbury Homes for All have been chosen as one of the three community groups to bid for a cash boost from the Tesco Stronger Starts scheme.🎉
Customers can vote for us in their local Shrewsbury Tesco stores, from 1st April to the end of June 2025. Votes can be cast using a blue token given at the check-out after each shop.
We are proud to be part of this fab scheme! Let the voting commence! 🤩🙌

RAF Shawbury’s charity of the year presentation

Our SHFA Chief Officer, Joanne Gough and Treasurer, Claire Crackett, were delighted to be presented with the generous donation raised by those at RAF Shawbury. Jo and Claire met with Station Commander – Wing Commander Alan Jones, Officer In Charge of Station Charities – Flight Lieutenant Molloy, and Corporal Dodd – who origibnally nominated the charity and ran quiz nights to raise money (all named photographed below – courtesy of RAF Shawbury). The total rasied was an amazing £2442.12 which will be put to great use by the charity.

15 miles of The Shropshire Way done! 🎉

Thank you to everyone for their support and kind donations for our fundraising hike of stage 1 of the Shropshire Way (in reverse). On Saturday 24th of June we laced up our boots and faced the muggy conditions, passing through 15 miles of the beautiful Shropshire countryside, finishing at our offices in Shrewsbury town centre.

SHFA are getting thier hiking boots on!

The SHFA Team are taking on a 15 mile hike along The Shropshire Way on the 24th June 2023, to raise money for our charity. This is to help the fab preventative work we do for those who need housing support and help with homelessness.
